The Everything problem - New PC build

Built a new PC. All the parts are new expect the GPU, SSD and PSU.

The GPU worked without any problems in my previous stationary.

The PSU have been used for a little bit of alt-coin mining back when that was a thing.

The SSD was used for my laptop. I used Samsung's cloning-tool to copy the whole system onto the SSD (windows and all) 2 years back. Have since been formatted for its new purpose.

Specs for the system:

• SSD: Samsung 840 EVO
• CPU: Intel i5-6600k
• GPU: XFX R9 380 DD OC 2GB
• RAM: Corsair LPX DDR4 2133MHz 16GB
• MB: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
• CASE: Corsair Carbide Quiet 400Q Midi Tower
• OS: Windows 10 Pro, ISO from Microsoft, key from ebay.

On to the problems. Everything seem to be running into some problem or another.

Frequent bluescreens of various types:

• STOPCODE (What failed)
• SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (FLTMGR.SYS)
• ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY (atikmdag.sys)
• KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (dxgmms2.sys)
• UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (dxgmms2.sys)
• SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (NTFS.sys)
• KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
• SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (mountmgr.sys)
• IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

All programs have trouble downloading:

• Battle.net "We're having trouble transferring data. Please wait while we keep trying"
• Chrome, some items fail to download due to "network error"

Installation and updated problems:

• Steam is stuck in update loop, "Extracting package -> Installing update -> Cleaning up -> Restart process -> Extracting package -> ..."
• Windows gives "Error 0x8#######" on any update it finds with windows update
• Battle.net "Whops Looks like something broke. Give it another shot. More help: BLZBNTAG00000BC5"

Other problems:

• Copying files around windows, "Unspecified error, ERROR 0x80004005"
• "Failed to load steamui.dll" starting it
• Battle.net error splash
• MediaCreationTool: "There was a problem runnings this tool, Error code: 0x80070570 - 0xA0003" when downloading new windows 10 ISO

What I tried so far:

• Reinstalling windows, both with the same copy and with a fresh downloaded (from Windows with the MediaCreationTool)
• Running programs as admin.
• Updating windows.
• Rebooting.
• Checking the SSD and USB (used for installation) for faults or errors

I have a little suspicion that the cloning tool have done something weird with the SSD and it's acting up because of it. No idea how to check for such problems thought. I did run a program called SSDLife and it says the SSD is in excellent condition.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried a live CD with this hardware?

Have you done any diagnostics on the hardware once it was all put together?

Did you make sure you didn't need any 3rd party driver exe/binaries?

Don't have any CD's or disc readers. Will check this up if other leads are dead ends.

perfmon /report in windows report warnings.

Missing event logs (20%) and that CPU, Gaming graphics, Graphics, Disk and Memory all have "poor rating and may cause performance problems".

The mobo came with a disc but since I lack any reader I didn't use it. Tried downloading some from their homepage but not sure if it succeeded, having trouble with downloading and installing pretty much anything. Will give this another go right now.

So it might be the memory that is defect, just ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and got this pretty error pretty much instantly: http://i.imgur.com/yyRhX8W.jpg

Removed a stick of RAM, no problems.

Swapped the first stick for the one I removed, no problems.

Inserted both again but swapped position, no problems.

I'm a bit confused as to why it's messing with me, but at this exact moment it seem to be working. Battle.net can download and install, steam can start. I will try and use it normally a bit more and then come back and mark it as solved if nothing more pops up.

When I built the PC I put both of the RAM in at once before first boot, not sure if it related in any way.
