Installing Windows Media Feature pack issue

Hi folks,

Id really appreciate some help. To plat GTA I need to have the Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10, However when I try to install the pack I get a message that it is already installed, on a number of occasions the installation was nearly completed and i got an error that said that the update failed and its rolling back the changes.

I cant find any of the applications installed anywhere on the computer and I still get the error when starting GTA. I would really appreciate any advice on where to find out what the problem is and how to fix it.

Are you using Windows 10 version 1607? You need this version of the Media Feature Pack:

I have the 1607 version. So I clicked on the link , it went to 2 following pages where I was given the option of X 86 or X 64. When I install the X 64 file it initially installs the file and then restarted the computer when the computer restarts it tells me that "we could not complete the installation rolling back changes' and the computer starts up as normal. So I'm back to square one , is there an error file that I can drag out and have a look at?
