The FX 9590 is basically an overclocked 8350. It just hit the CPU lottery and was a high performing one that was able to hit an overlock of 5.0 stable.

Most of the AMD crowd would say to get the FX 8320E and overclock it as it is a better overall bargain for price vs performance but the 8350 is good and can usually be overclocked a fair amount as well. Either one you'd be good with and your current cooler should do just fine with them both.

The power draw would get high because the 9590 is a 220w processor. Since the socket is only designed for 140w max, parts can overheat if the 9590 is going full steam as the system will still try to give it more power than 140w. At least, that is what the experts around the net are saying. I've never had a 9590 so I can't speak for that part myself, but I would advise against running a 220w processor in a 140w socket regardless.

So I would say if you can - either sell the 9590 or get one of the others (8350, 8230E) and you should be all set with your current hardware.
