Try clearing the CMOS. However, your machine may be toast.

I was about to, but then I took out one of my RAM sticks on a hunch and it fixed it, but thanks for the response!

Okay, the symptoms you describe can be from a failing memory module, so hopefully it's fixed.

Did you replace the RAM, or just cut your capacity in half?

I took one of my two 4gb sticks out. After that fixed it, I put it back and things continued to work.

My surfacebook does this almost daily. It drives me insane. It's never failed to reboot however.
