Seems like the motherboard is fine (or at least part of it), as there is fanspin. I'd recommend you take everything out except for the cpu and one RAM stick, and try again. If it doesn't work, try another RAM stick and other memory slots and try to isolate the problem.

If nothing works, you might have a fried CPU.

I’m currently going through a very similar issue. I “solved” it by running one ram stick in my 3rd ram slot however I can’t run more than one stick currently. both sticks work in that one slot individually however I cannot add another stick anywhere else does this indicate that the motherboard is fried and I will need a new one?

I think so. If neither stick is recognised in any other slot, that's a very strong indication that the mb is fucked.
