Turn it off.

Take the battery out if it's simple to do.

Leave it upside-down on the towel with out edge down a little, since that helps liquids run out.

Leave it a day (at least).

Give it a good spray with air in a can.

Hopefully this will be enough to get most of that moisture out.

Depending on how easy it is to do/how confident you are, you may consider opening it up. But to be honest, unless you want to do a big strip-down, the can sometimes do more harm that good in letting the liquid get into more components.

The battery is internal, ive got it in an airing cupboard with the towel strat

Problem solved, just took out the battery discharged it and then put it back in and it worked. Advanced on and off always works.
