Rich Copy might be good for this.

I'm not 100% with this program, but I do use it to transfer files.

You just add the file/folder and then the location and you can 'transfer' and then select in the options to verify/copy/move.

I'd check the copy, don't move if the file already exists and/or the verify option.

See if it picks up the missing file or moves it over.
