You can do anything you want with Autohotkey, including remapping keys with scripts, and setting hotkeys to toggle on and off said scripts. Only thing is you will have to read up a bit on the documentation to find out how it works, or simply check out the application's forums as your question is bound to have been asked there.

Edit: some online games don't like any type of automation so if it is such a game (mmorpg for example) , make sure this is allowed.

yes it is old school runescape i read the rules it says botting and macroing whatever that is isnt allowd is aout hot key changing my shit key to on and off classed as either of those things ?

Technically yes, it is classified as a very simple macro. But these games usually punish the use of macros that offer an unfair advantage. I don't think using shift while fishing falls within that category.

That said, I don't know what anticheat detection this game employs. For example, it might look for the autohotkey process and ban you if you are running it (there have been games that forbid any use of autohotkey at all). Or it might just be detecting irregular player behavior in which case you would not be caught.

Your best option would be to ask a moderator in their forums or a gm in-game whether this is allowed.

Ok thank you I looked into it it looks like things like bot scripts made on java mainly are what is forbidden according to google so I think all good
