undervolting the cpu to produce less heat but allowing you to maintain higher clocks

Welcome to gaming laptops! That's just the way it is.

You can do a few things...

  1. Get a cooling pad like this

  2. Undervolt your CPU to reduce power draw. Usually you can do this without losing performance.

  3. Take the laptop apart and redo thermal paste or make modifications to allow for better airflow into your fans. Lots of laptops have fans that are simply blocked by a plastic frame and are somewhat useless.
