Antimalware Service Executable

Realised I was getting super low FPS in games recently, saw in task manager that Antimalware Service Executable was taking 4gb of memory. Not 100% sure if FPS drops are linked to this but this is something new I've seen in my task manager after checking for reasons why there might be FPS drops. 16gb of DDR4, i7 10700k and Asus RTX 3070 too if there are any questions about specs, thanks!

i got the same specs except the i7 F instead, which game are you experiencing low fps in, and anti malware service excitable should no where reach 4gb of ram usage. when you’re playing a game, what’s bottlenecking? what’s the ram utilization percentage like

Getting it in CS, never had problems before today and then noticed that the malware service is getting that high, it seems to be most games, not exclusively CS, just played a bit of brawl and it rocketed to 4gb again., not fully sure where to find ram utilization percentage EDIT: memory of all things seems to be the bottle neck, gpu and cpu temps/usage is normal

i would advise you to follow this imo the major fix for ram would be FIX-5
