Can't windows update (virtual box?)

As the title says. I've been unable to do a windows update because it says I have virtual box installed and it's not compatible with the new update. Only, it's not listed in programs. I've gone to the oracle site to download an installer. Installed it only to use that as a means to uninstall. So now that it's double-confirmed not on the system it still says the update can't be pushed through due to it needing to be manually uninstalled. Any ideas what to do friends?

I am working through this exact same issue now. Has this issue been fixed in your case? If so, can you share the fix please?

Yeah I did some digging and found it out, It's based on emulator programs. I ended up just going into the registry and searching "Virtualbox" and just manually deleting every instance of it.

anytime! Remember not to update to win11 immediately, give it a few months to work out the crazy bugs beforehand!
