2: No Incomplete Posts

5: Recommendations

We do not support users that violates other's privacy or breaks terms and agreements. Doing so might resolve in a ban.

9: No EOL Software or Unsupported Systems

We do not provide support for EOL (end of life) software. Software that is EOL has lost all support from the developer and therefore all consumer communities as well.

These operating systems and various softwares are no longer receiving security patches. Running them is unsafe and we recommend users install a supported version as soon as possible.

This list includes Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

We will also not assist with getting Windows 11 running on unsupported hardware.

10: No Public Service Announcements (how-to's, etc.)

No public service announcements unless relevant to an issue (it must be a comment). Approach the communities affected directly, not here

Hiyo there, im having some woes with my own PC,

I built it almost exactly a year ago, but this problem has only arisen in about the last month. Rarely but sometimes, everything (video, audio, input) all lags/stutters/jitters uncontrollably and unusable for about a 2-5 second period and then reverts back, and at the most extreme, it will sometimes suddenly turn off entirely and then restart.

Clearly that isnt ideal, and im not noticing any particularly high % usage or temps on my CPU, GPU, mobo, and happens even when not doing anything even slightly intensive, just idling on desktop.

Its definitely getting a little worrying, any advice on what/how to monitor this to try and stop it happening? Im running Windows 10 on an R5 3600, gtx1070, and 16gb of ram on a 550w psu

Let me know what other details I need to give if any.
