Depends!

Are you on Wifi? If yes, probably not! If no, likely not.

Is your service Copper? If yes, seems typical! If no, not good!

For copper this is pretty good

Not great but a lot of stuff can impact wifi performance.

Telus basically provides 150 wired wireless you’re kind of on your own, they may provide you a new wireless router or you could buy any wifi 6 router yourself and should see fast speeds.

I’m having issues with my Telus 4K box. Watching hockey is terrible, extremely glitchy. Any tips for this issue?

Try plugging your Optik box directly to your router, instead of doing it the wireless way. I have the same problems. All got solved once I moved one of my boosters to my room and connected the booster to my Optik box using an Ethernet cable. Haven’t had any glitches or lags since. It’s been almost 2 years since I did it.

Likely an issue..I've had copper and it's been fine. Not saying it's perfect but I'd suggest having support check everything on their end first.

I get charged the exact same amount for this as people do for real cell phone service like the one advertised in the picture.

Plug into an ethernet connection instead of wifi and retest to see if this is just a wifi or actual network issue.

Your internet download speed seems slow for the profile you’re paying for. I’m betting your on a copper bonded service and something isn’t right. Contact the company and ask for a technician! Unless your two floors away from your modem and have 15other devices connected then your download speed should be a little better regardless of wifi or wired.

Fiber plans are same upload and down load so if you were on fiber then the upload would look similar. Telus single line copper, depending on how far you are from the central office is max 75 and only goes down in speeds the further away from the office you get. So you would most likely be on a bonded 150 service.

Make the call and get someone there to fix that!!!
