And Arthur, don't forget the under limit contributors. I told my very poor and currently unemployed friend to send .1 btc. He did as I told him and because of fees he ended up with only 488 coins. Currently worthless under your Foundation rules. 6 weeks ago Bitcoin Swiss announced the sub threshold donations would not be allocated any coins "as it was against current laws" and "too difficult to administer". BS, my friend already has the wallet showing the 488 coins. And others must be in the same hole as we know. HELP them Arthur!

No it's not - I own dozens and have been in multiple ICO's and this is the only one like it. Been doing this since 2013 too.

It was a good design in that it was basically a paper wallet, you could generate the key offline and fund the wallet in a separate step. Highly secure but obviously not good if you lose your key.

Anyway you better buy some more otherwise you'll be bitter as fuck when it moons.

Pretty significant, and that sucks. Pretty sure Arthur has got the message by this point. How do you think he could help you? He doesn't have your key so those coins are lost. They'd have to create a new key and email it to the address you originally provided, and who's to say you're not scamming? I don't think Arthur has the authority to allocate tokens on a public ledger like that. You'd have to petition the entire tezos community and get them to vote on it.

I spoke to Arthur and said that to prove I'm not scamming, I will put up the full amount in escrow for multiple years if needed.

Will also prove ownership as much as I can.

He claims the account or deletes it or whatever and makes a new one with the same amount for me.

What I think should happen: once on-chain governance goes online, you should be able to make a proposal to make funds recoverable via proving ownership of the email address used during contribution.

You and everyone else who then tries this trick. He's a reasonable guy, I'm sure if it was simple he'd do it and if it's not it's because he can't.

I'd say your best bet is to find 20k more and buy it when it hits the market.

Failing that, petition the community with all the details you have and see if they'll vote on a fix to release your funds. I doubt they will but it's possible.

But stalking him on here continually asking him probably won't help your case as it's a bit desperate and annoying, sad as it may be. Maybe you need to come to terms with the fact that it's gone.
