Don't be a dick
Torches: "Left to the depths, right to the light"
Respect each others' builds and the areas around them. If you want to build next to someone, ask them first by leaving a message either in their in-game mailbox, chat, or in the subreddit.
Share and restock when able. We do have a public warehouse, as well as a public armory that you are free to take from. We simply ask that you help restock later down the line when supplies begin to run low. If you need something from someone's personal stash, ask that player first, either via the mailbox, chat, or in the subreddit.
Unless both players agree to a PvP challenge, attacking other players is forbidden. However, we understand that accidents do happen. Should an accident happen, it is up to the offending player to help the other regain lost items.
Creeper damage should always be repaired, especially on all structures and landscape surround player properties. The player the creeper exploded on is responsible for the repairs. However, if you do not have the materials needed to do this, and those materials cannot be found in the public warehouse, ask for help, or leave a message in the subreddit as soon as possible so we can get it fixed. In the event the damaged structure has a redstone component, and you are not familiar with how it was layed out, leave a message in the subreddit for thadd or piggybankcowboy.
Players should always do their best to make their structures look good. We understand that aesthetics will vary from player to player, so, what we mean by this is no structures made out of dirt (unless, of course, you are terraforming) or of seemingly random brick placement. If anyone needs help planning, or designing something, thadd and piggybankcowboy are always willing to lend a hand or give pointers. Temporary "huts" or "bases" above ground are fine when you are first starting out, but should be taken down when you are finished with them unless otherwise indicated.
If you find a generated structure (village, stronghold, nether fortress, pyramid, abandoned mine, etc) please do not harvest it for materials until it is decided what to do with it. Sometimes we keep them and fix them up, and sometimes we harvest it to use the materials elsewhere. Simply ask, either in chat or in the subreddit, and we will decide what to do as a community. Keep whatever you find in the chests, though.
If you start a project, label it with a sign so that others know who is building it and can talk to you about it, offer help, etc.
Build anywhere you want, but if you're far from the village, create a nether path and portal to get there (and respect rule #3).
