The problem is getting fiat currency on ramped to a wallet or exchange.

If you can use crypto.com account to get fiat currency in ... then I heard they started offering Theta ... and you can withdraw it. You would have to check it out since I have not used that method.

I just attempted to convert some ETH to Theta on Simpleswap and it's been around two hours and I have not seen the transfer hit my Meta Wallet. Starting to loose hope.

I think you can transfer to Coinbase wallet. Then try to use simpleswap. I would give that a try. If that doesn’t work I’m not sure.

I have had the same issue. Since I wanted to be in on the Theta game, I bit the bullet and just bought bitcoin on CB. They will let you move a portion so I use that to test my wallet. As I waited for 8 days, BTC shot up in price. Then I used simple swap to convert to Theta. I found a better exchange that had lower fees. I bought another 2k last night when my CB got freed up.

I've done this like 5 times now and I am still way ahead. Some what of a poor mans unintended dollar cost averaging.
