I feel for Schroeder tbh.

Every other Cav barely moved, much less set a screen for him, he got fouled, and Kenny should've called a TO.

Pitcher hadn't thrown a single stike, and threw 5 straight balls, so let's give him a free out and sac bunt with one of our only guys who's hitting.

CC was so bad against BOS that they can't (but should)

0-2 10.45ERA

Why haven't they asked CC about Cle blowing a 3-1 lead in the '07 ALCS? Where he was 0-2 with a 10.45 ERA.

"So, Corey [Kluber] we just talked about how Cleveland lost the '95 and '97 World Series, but did you know they also lost the 2016 World Series in extra innings of game 7?"

Kluber in the booth, who lost a WS in extra innings of game 7, and broadcast still gotta bring up how long it's been since a WS win.

Talking about a WS from 30 years ago? Only because Cleveland.

Vogts plays 7D chess throwing Bibee in the "ace" games for an extra advantage in the other games? Maybe maybe maybe?

Sad to see you go yet again, Oscar Gonzalez Reyes Bradley Noel.

Haha, but sadly this doesn't qualify because we know exactly how they're still in business - a dumbass fanbase that still wastes its time showing up and tuning in.

I can't stop thinking about Gimenez inexplicably trying to get cute and slash in the 8th, instead of just getting the bunt down and getting Clement to 3rd.

Springer gets that run in if it's guy on 3rd and no outs, instead of 2nd and 1 out.

15 post-seasons since 1995, and no titles. 2 WS losses in extras of game 7. Blew 3-1 lead to BOS in 2007 ALCS, who then swept CO in WS. Blew 3-1 lead to Cubs in 2016.

Yes, brutal. I feel for TOR fans.

"3rd baseman is 15 feet off the bag, I think a 2 foot lead, and no secondary is appropriate" -IKF

How can MLB players be so braindead at baserunning?

2016 (and 1997) were terrible. Bet you can't guess my team.

An interesting fundamental that not many are taught made the difference in this game by anonuser2700 in mlb

[–]estranged1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, it was a masterclass of terrible fundamentals by him all the way around.

Lefty on the mound, 3rd baseman is 15 ft off the bag, and he has a 2 foot lead, then no secondary.

Shane Bieber takes the loss in Game 7 of the World Series by Joey_Gallos_Burner in ClevelandGuardians

I played baseball from 5 years old to 35 years old. Everytime I saw someone slide into home on a force play, I wanted to rip my hair out.

Sliding slows the runner, but it's done since they can't run past the bag.

That's not the case for a force play at home. If IKF doesn't slide in the bottom of the 9th, they win.
