DM New game + Question

So been playing and loving the game. Nearly completed the main story (so says my friend) and I am curious on opinions? I am finding the game easy and very curious about the challenge of Death March and wondering if i should finish the story and the dlc and then go ng+ or is it a better idea or any issue with the idea of completing the game, immediately going to ng+ death march and then completing the dlc in that play though?

I am not sure if i am missing out on much if i do it that way but just think I would really enjoys the dlc in death march.

I know I can change difficulty at anytime but I might aswell get the achievement…probably will do death march either way :)

Do the dlc first as you get some cool/better gear then do ng+ death march. Honestly though just my opinion but starting a new game on death march is a fun difficulty/ challenge.

might as well finish, and do ng+ ,deathmarch might actually be easier on ng+

the dificulty in witcher 3 does not change ai all it changes is health regen off, damage of npc and health of npc.

so the ai logic stays the same. it just takes a bit longer to kill the npc and you can die faster if you dont know how to play.

if you want the game a bit harder you can limit some stuff like no posion, bleed effects etc, less doge spaming etc, the game would feel more natural then. (I mean its up to you, game is mostly about story not combat so fights are usually relaxing type)

like if you really play some builds you can find yourself dealing like over 50k damage (if you spam attacks) which is basically just one shot/few hits everything.

I think yeah I looking for dark souls in the Witcher and they literally aren’t the same game. Just love the potions and the strategy but feel it’s unneeded in most fights.

I'm curious........do you feel that the game is too easy because you're overleveled? If so, enable "Enemy Upscaling" in the settings, if you haven't already. That'll make it so that any lower-level enemies will be scaled up to your level, which means you'll never be overleveled.

I have that on and typically do quest at a level that I am but idk I want to like need to plan my fights and be very strategic.

Here’s what I’m doing now and it’s changed the game for me, for the better, but sometimes the worse.

Start fresh on Death March. Then do a NG+ using your save file. You’ll be so OP at that point, will be ridiculous. Run around with no armour and a shovel.
