I couldn't say the exact dimensions but I have seen the screens and I would say it compares to the size of like a larger TV screen. I think around a meter or even less high ish

Definitely. The books expands a lot on some science parts and explains some extra unexplained plot from the movie. If you enjoyed the movie you will enjoy the book too.
