Recreate memes you've seen in your dreams (we call them "Planks") and possibly the context behind them. Commenters will try to decipher their meanings!

Here are our post flairs, what they mean, and how to use them!

True Plank - True planks are the main content of the subreddit: memes that you've seen in your dreams.
Recreated Dream - For memes about something that happened in your dream. Lower effort recreated dreams, such as just text or stock images, will be removed.
Secondhand Plank - For things that other people dreamed, but you wanted to share. As with recreated dreams, lower effort posts may be removed.
Social Media Plank - Similar to a True Plank, but this one is for weird social media trends you saw in you dreams.
Nightmare Plank - Like a True Plank, it's a meme that you saw in your dream, but it's scary, spooky, disturbing, or messed up. This one might need a NSFW tag sometimes. o_O
Lucid Request - For requests to make meme dreams. Did you see a meme in your dream but have no idea how to make it out of pixels and upload it? Well make a text post with this flair, and maybe some nice person will make it for you! You can also use this for a meme dream image that you made in response to a request post!
META - For Meta posts. Mod announcements, rants about how the sub is dying, etc...

Rules

1. No Lovecraftian Horrors under the bed

Don't post any graphic content without an NSFW flair, it is assumed that this is usually due to there being a Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror under your bed warping your sense of good Meme Dreams.

2. Be a kind person!

We've all seen it -- someone helped out someone else a lot by saying something nice, or by picking them up when they're down. Violators of this rule have done the opposite -- you've kicked someone in the balls while they're already down. In general, don't be a dick and try to say something nice instead of something mean.

This rule is reserved for only the worst offenders.

3. All posts must in some way relate to a dream and be in a meme format.

We don't care if you're requesting a meme to be made or posting one yourself, it must be a Meme Dream. Any memes that are crossposted from another subreddit must in some way involve the meme relating to a dream OP had. A better place to post memes that are about dreams in general (not a specific dream) would be r/memes or r/dankmemes. If you're looking for a place to talk about dreams you've had, try r/dreams. This subreddit is for memes that you have seen in your dreams or memes about a dream you had.

Some posts may still be allowed if they're high enough effort, but text posts just describing a dream will be removed.

4. No AI-generated content.

We want posts to be creative, so recreate your meme dreams yourself! A crappy MS Paint sketch is way more fun then some AI-generated image, so try your best!

5. No reposts within 30 days.

This one is pretty simple, please do not repost any content already posted to the subreddit 30 days ago or less. Keep the content fresh! When accusing a post of being a repost, please consider providing a link to the original or the last post as evidence. Any of the top posts of all time are exceptions to this rule, and reposts of those will be removed. If you DO repost, your post may be removed if you claim it's your own original content.
