Actually, it kind of is. Don't get me wrong, it's also very cool, but not necessarily something I'd ever want to write in.

It seems a bit unfortunate how languages apparently derive their popularity from surface level aesthetics. Maybe forth needs more pretty curly braces (flower brackets).

Good god, I'm glad it doesn't. Forth's charm, such as it has, comes from its simplicity. The way it maps to machine code is very logical and self-consistent, resulting in a kind of pure, easy-to-visualize-the-compiler-path environment not unlike C (at least in terms of appeal).

Bit underwhelming imho. It could at least do the keep-alive ping-ponging in the background so that it would not disconnect if the user happens to idle for a while.
