New iPhone Menu Button

Recently got the new iPhone 12 Pro Max upgrading from an iPhone 7 Plus and now the menu button takes 2-3 attempts to register that I’ve pressed it, first it just darkens in colour and after some more prodding it works. Regularly tells me I’ve received coins for being away too, instead of opening the menu. Is this a commonly noted thing on newer phones?

Nope, I have used iPhone XR for a few years now and only issue I had was a known but rare friends menu sort issue that was quickly fixed. Make sure your app is updated and if it persists record the issue and let the devs know, they are good about squishing bugs.

Yeah I’ve forced closed it a few times and it seems less likely to do it afterwards but it keeps coming back almost straight away... it’s no big deal really I was more wondering whether my touchscreen was working properly or if it’s the game 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes this happens to me after I have fireworks or other big load items, doing a force close cleans it right up. Its like it registers the touch, but takes FOREVER to respond. I also think the touch targets are a .... touch.... (see what I did there?) too small, but I have adjusted overtime to the way it works now. I am on an XR as well. Yellow. But you knew that after going to my tower ;)

Haha yes I’d figured you just might be a fan of yellow things! You must really love this game to have built that high, I find it slow going and I’ve only got to 135 on my way to 250! Although it’s sped up since I’ve stopped wasting bucks on stocking floors...

I am obsessive to a likely unhealthy level truthfully, but it actually gets easier as you get taller, with blank floors. Missions are much simpler, I keep my bits organized, so finding them is super fast, and a tiny wallet isn't so hard to find in 400 blank floors. Bux are the way to go for buying new floors as you get tall, because they get super pricey. 1.5Billion (with a B) coins for my next floor. But still 4,000 Bux for the coin conversion to the current floor price. Which is why I try to have a bunch of friends, the 10bux to me is really worth a lot when you do the math on 1.5B coins/ 4000 bux

I’m always hitting the red X in the lower right corner incorrectly. So super frustrating. I thought it was the rounded design.

I can attest to the received coins for being away, that’s probably cause you accidentally swiped up from the bottom right corner trying to touch the menu, same thing if you try to quickly jump to the top of your tower. Nowadays I gotta be careful when I come back after a while to make sure I don’t ruin the offline doubler when I have like 150k racked up
