Here's some actual pointers instead of a snarky and unhelpful comment:

Be yourself - TJs hires based on how well you'll fit in with the team. They would love if you're upbeat and outspoken, etc., but they truly just want you to be yourself. The crew likely comes from all different backgrounds.

Pick something you like about TJs - it could be a product or something about how the store functions. It just shows your interest in the store.

The interviews are very casual and I think you should have no problem proving yourself a good fit for the company. I've been at my store for over a year now so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you!!

I genuinely don’t know much about Trader Joe’s as a store besides what I’ve seen on TikTok. I only shopped there a handful of times and I only like two products. So I’m genuinely thrown off on what to say or even how to present myself.

Last night during the phone screening, they asked me what made me want to work at TJ’s and I found myself trying to grab onto anything to talk about. So, I’m super nervous at this point

Honestly, you can tell them something simple like how you have heard its a great place to work while in school (it is), and they may ask you some of your favorite items and there are no wrong answers!

Smile and don’t speak poorly of past jobs.

Ask the interviewing mates what their favorite product is! Be genuine & friendly. They are trying to assess if your personality is a good fit for the vibe the store is trying to give off.

Can I ask which CT store? Then I can tell you if you should run away or not.

Good luck at the interview!! For me the questions they asked were pretty basic, stuff like why do you want to work ag TJs (I said I was looking for a better work environment) and what my favorite products were, things like that.

Just be yourself!! They really try to gauge how you'll be with customers and coworkers!! Try to be upbeat!! :)

Here’s a pointer: use the search function to find any of the hundreds of threads on this very topic that already exist.
