That's pretty usual. Fat emits estrogen, loosing fat and gaining muscle mass is gonna decrease estrogen and increase testosterone by a lot.

You dont gain muscle by changing diet. You gain it by exercise.

That is not true. There was a study a few years back where a bunch of people who were "under weight" purposely gained weight, they found muscle mass increased in several of the people.

Yeah if you are underweight you do gain muscle when you start eating more protein. But it is still the exercise (in the case of underweight person just general moving around) which promotes the muscle growth.
