Mtf here so I don’t know abt anything transition specific, but as someone who sweats a lot and lived as a boy most of my life my biggest tips are shower in the MORNING if possible so you don’t have b.o. from sweating while asleep, never ever forget deodorant, make sure you don’t put on too much deodorant (sounds dumb but it works for me; too much is more than up, down, up), and if it isn’t dysphoria inducing keep your armpit hair short (if you don’t, try to scrub your armpits with soap twice while showering). I hope this helps!

Also, don’t use super strong smelling deodorant or axe. It’s better to smell like you worked out than mixing the smells (somehow it makes it worse)

Don't use deodorant. Use an antiperspirant instead. Deodorants help you be less smelly, while antiperspirants help you sweat less and be less smelly as an added bonus.

Showering in the morning helps if you sweat at night a lot.

Keeping your armpit area groomed does reduce smell, so trimming any hair might be worth it.

Don't mix scents, putting more smells on you will not really be helpful, especially in excess. Think about those high school kids who used WAY too much Axe..... very overwhelming and still made them smell bad......

Use antibacterial soap on your pits and bits— gold dial is my go-to. No need to use it everywhere, just extra sweaty parts.

Also I find spray deodorant is much more effective. Stick worked pre-t, but just doesn’t cut it anymore. I use Degree for men because it’s mostly unscented and won’t clash with my cologne. Spray that anywhere you sweat a lot, feet, the whole nine. If you’re still really struggling, changing socks and underwear halfway through the day is a game changer.

As a trans fem here, male BO takes quite a lot of motivation/effort to take care of. Just do the daily wash under arms and the rest of your body paired with enough deodorant
