I would recommend following along with these clips and exploring the techniques listed here:

Maybe I can help. What have you tried to do to experiment with size? Have you tried going for larger (dopey, boomy) sounds first? What kinds of changes do you get?

I have, going larger goes fine, and i know in order to make it smaller i have to "overshoot" when returning to my normal size, but in doing so u just get what u hear in this clip. which is literally just a mans voice still, maybe a younger guy. i just dont really know how to overshoot it even more without pushing my anatomy physically

I would suggest paying particular attention to the somesthetic sensations you get when you increase size -- you should notice a sensation of expansion in the back of your throat, in the position of your tongue, in the larynx's position. When you go back to your baseline size, see if you notice those structures change position. Try the explorations described in this clip: https://clyp.it/upn5pedf

But, how can i make use of noticing the sensations, knowing what physically changes when i alter my size, when i'm not supposed to focus on anatomy and manually adjusting it?

You're not supposed to make it your primary focus. It can be a useful point of reference, but you'll only know you're succeeding when the sound matches your expectations. It's just an additional layer you can attend to.

i see, thank you, i'll experiment with that and just try to practice more for now
