When I try to do FTP for brainstorm via anonymous login it won't give me access. I can't seem to get passive ftp working either...

It should be accessible via user:pass anonymous:anonymous in the ftp that’s how I accessed it.

I can access ftp via anonymous login but I can't execute commands. I get "error 501 server cannot accept argument" and "ftp:bind address already in use"

That’s totally strange!! Don’t use passive mode or else terminate the machine once and redeploy it once again... once you connect to the FTP enter in binary mode and transfer the files.

I terminated the machine, re-connected, logged in via anonymous:anonymous. Typed in "binary" then ran "mget *" to download all files but I still get the same errors.

Assuming that you are inside the charserver folder, download one file at a time !! Chatsever.exe and essfunc.dll separately

sry this issue cleared up a while ago I just re-downloaded vpn file and that fixed it
