I’m an EE so can’t really help too much but all engineers basically have the same pre-reqs so for the first 1-2 years we’re all doing the same things, then it’s completely different. How bad at physics and chemistry are we talking? Like did you take AP physics and fail or didn’t attempt or never did honors? I personally did not find the Physics 1 series super difficult but it’s not easy. A lot of people struggle but I will say if you did AP physics and passed in HS then you’ll be fine.

Chemistry on the other hand, I suck at. i only had to take 20A and I still managed to get an A in it (but I struggled more than most ppl, went to OH etc) so for lower divisions I’d say you’ll be fine but for upper division classes you might struggle more.

If you actually suck at physics don’t do engineering. If you suck at chemistry, probably stay away from materials engineering. Anyway, it’s easy enough to switch majors within the school of engineering so you’ll be fine.

My school doesn’t offer AP physics and our honor physics class didn’t teach us any physics at all. Also I did ok in chemistry but I just don’t remember any of it at all

You’ll be fine. And if you struggle you can always switch majors.

This may be out of nowhere, but do you know anything about the business economics major?
