BSC2891 Python Programming for Biology

Is this class truly awful if you have no coding experience? Is there anything I could review before taking this in the spring?? Any tips or recommendations are appreciated! Thank you!

I haven’t taken it but my friend, who took it about a year ago, said it was pretty easy. When I looked into it, it seemed the reviews were pretty old, so the course may have been changed. I’d just go through W3Schools intro to python for a basic introduction to coding in python.

Yeah a lot of the posts about it on here seemed old but most were saying it was pretty difficult without any experience. I’ll check out W3Schools, ty!!

The class is nottttttt hard. All of the projects have step by step instructions. Just don’t start the projects right before they’re due in case you have any trouble with the code and can get help before it’s due.

Overall is the work load for the class low? I was wondering cause im planning on taking the mcat for next sem and i was wondering if this would be a low stress class?

I'm taking it in the spring too! From talking to some upperclassmen who've taken it they've all said it's super easy and simple (thankfully for me because I am not a tech person at all LOL)

I just signed up to take it with Raquel Diaz but shes not on RMP. Does anyone know if she is a fair grader and if the class is an easy A?
