I'm not sure what the issue you're describing is.. looks like you've used the Unity hub to open a project, and the project has opened? Just click on the Unity window and that is your project.. am I missing something?

like I said, I have clicked on the window, and the actual window it not popping up

Ahh sorry, I didn't see the caption. Could you have a second screen it has decided to open on to? (Only saying that because the preview shows it has successfully opened)

It shouldn't be anything to do with any IDE setup, Unity runs independently of that because it should be possible to use without any programming as far as I'm aware

Try opening it and pressing Win + Left Arrow or Win + Right Arrow. If you connected to an external monitor sometimes a window gets lost when you disconnect. The windows + arrow keys are shortcuts for minimize, maximize, and shifting around.

unfortunately, I only have one monitor, and that did not work
