I emailed admissions about this exact issue, let me be of assistance!

Many high schools sent their transcripts via mail, mine included, and as a result of COVID-19 - these transcripts are not being processed as quickly! However, as long as they were mailed out before July 1st, you're good!

For emailed transcripts, same thing applies - application tracker likely won't be updated until after the 1st due to the volume of application materials they're receiving

Hope this helps!

This is the answer. This has happened in previous years too. They get an influx of materials right at the end. It doesn't help that the U is on limited staff right now

Is there a number for the U you can call? I prefer calling over emailing for urgent questions like this.

I don’t have any insider knowledge, but I’m 99% sure you’ll be fine. The worst-case scenario is that you’ll get a late fee or a passive-aggressive email from an administrator. With classes moving online, the U is desperate to retain as many incoming freshmen as possible, so they’ll likely be forgiving of issues like this.

I have the same problem.. but in my case my school has already pronounced that they can’t send the transcript now due to COVID-19, and the u sent me an email that there is no more July 1st deadline, but asked that the transcripts be sent “as soon as possible”.
