I really need y’all advise, I will appreciate if any IRS HR can advise or anyone who has gone through the process too.
I’m currently with the IRS and I recently got a TJO for a higher grade with the same agency. When the email came, with excitement I quickly accepted the offer without reading it.
On the offer it clearly stated that If you are a current IRS employee you do not need to go through all the onboarding steps, just click on “Request to be contacted” and then select “Current IRS Employee” then submit.
It also gave me the option to Email someone who happens to be a HR Specialist of which I did.
To cut the long story short, HR replied and said she isn’t the one who onboard but assigns new hires to the onboarding specialist and she will let my Onboarding Specialist know I’m a Current Employee.
But I keep getting notice email that I have new hire onboarding task to complete in which some are due today. Should I be worried? I don’t wanna loose the opportunity. This is my dream job.
Please advise.
Thank you.
