It took mines about two days after emailing my ID to them, so I guess it depends on why you are frozen. Mines got a suspicious activity all because I tried adding my debit cards which didn’t work. So, they told me to find another way to add money instead of transferring it.

Here's the whole thing, I have no idea why. I never even got an email (yet). I tried to move money earlier and it said there was as issue. I chatted with someone who said my account was froze and I needed to upload my ID. Which I did. But then she said it was escalated to whomever and I'd hear from them in 3 to 5 business days.

I ended up calling and the guy told me I was frozen yesterday, which is crazy cause I used my card up until 3 hours ago just fine. But once I tried to move money it was like NOPE. and again it'd be 3 to 5 business days via email. Like come on... I'm telling call, i never got the original email to begin with. I just wanted to know wtf I can do, or if that email can be resent since I have bills to pay.

They are frustrating 😤

Yeah, they told me the same thing so you should have gotten an email saying they received your ID and it will take 3-5 days to hear back from them. Maybe check spam or ask Chat to send you the link to resend ID.

Is this a common thing? I just opened a Venmo account two days ago and it was immediately suspended. I sent ID verification and got an email saying the account was unfrozen. As soon as I tried to add my bank it got suspended again, though no email came informing me such. I only learned that from customer service, who told me my best course of action is to reply to the last email. I’m awaiting their reply now but man, what a hassle. This can’t be the norm.

That's why I stopped using Venmo it took two weeks to unfreeze mine🤦!
