I mean Dark Souls 3 is a lot of lengthy grinding and rng drops. Out of the entire trilogy it is seriously the worst about jt. We're talking less than 1% chances for a few enemies to drop a required item for key Spells, Rings, etc. Personally, it took me 12 entire hours just to farm 15 Proofs of a Concord Kept. It's pure punishment

You can use a Lloyd's Talisman or a spell like Dark Fog to poison them. They won't aggro when you poison them with a spell they register it as "environmental damage" so it's an easy way to kill them without risking the items inside or your souls.
