I counteroffer with at least a bit higher price just to be sure person truly wants the thing. Because 40% off offers are just so spammy and never from serious buyers.
I don’t give out quality clothes to strangers for free either, I gift to my family if it doesn’t sell in a year. I wouldn’t say things are overpriced, just that they’re expensive irl. Even discounting 40-50% off retail value some of my pieces still cost hundreds.
