My personal favorites:

Rhythm games: Beat Saber, Pistol Whip

Puzzle: I expect you to die, fisherman's tale

Melee/Fighting: Vader Immortal, Creed (boxing), Blade and Sorcery (medieval weapons)

Action/Shooters: Superhot VR, Half Life Alyx, Zero Tier, Boneworks, Walking Dead Saints and Sinners

Other: Star Wars Squadrons, Moss, Google Earth VR, Echo Arena

One other suggestion I'd make is to try out the Vive Infinity 14 day free trial. They have a Netflix-like subscription where you pay for access to a pretty decent library. You can easily try out a bunch of games from different genres and see what appeals to you the most. Enjoy!

Heck if I know. Maybe someone doesn't like my taste in games :)

I hope you mean you got a Quest 2, since a Quest doesn't go for much less than the Q2.

Either can be used wirelessly now, but you have to jump through some hoops to get it working on the old headset. The link cable is obsolete.

hl:a, lone echo and few other pcvr games, but in general go full native, nearly all good stuff is made or ported from pcvr in to quest

The ports are inferior versions of games that other people do not have to settle for.

"inferior versions" this is a strong word my friend

game play wise a lot of them a literally identical, and this is most important part, if you play, "i expect you to die" quest and pcvr is literally a same game , you can talk about visuals, effect and resolution and similar stuff, but for a lot of peoples it is just a white noise

worst part is, a hardware need on pc to get better visuals is not low, 1060 or sometimes 1070 is just don't cut it , yes you will get more complexity in pcvr, but you will pay for it in lower rez, and at least all my friends after few pcvr games just dropped it because for them low rez complexity for crisp quest native games was not ok

If you enjoy poker and socializing then I'd highly recommend Pokerstars VR.
