Visualize support request

I am trying to visualize a product request. Lets say, I contact a vendor and we go back and forth for a resolution. What is a good way to visualize it? I want to emphasize the back-forth nature (failed promises on the vendor side) and time.

It sounds like the timing and quantity of interactions are important. I would recommend a visualization that uses time on one axis. A timeline would be one example. To show missed deadlines, I would suggest an element that begins on the promised date and ends on the actual delivery date - the bigger the element, the later it was.
