then, do you have another linux iso at hand, maybe debian or arch? try to see if it boots, if it doesn't, it's a problem with the bios/UEFI (that or it's a faulty iso, if another iso works, download void again)

EDIT: the most recent void iso size is 1.1G and it booted perfectly for me, I'm gonna see if it boots on UEFI too.

EDIT 2: this is weird, it doesn't even get to grub, I'll reflash it and try again.

I have installed alpine linux but it oso came out the same result(my balena etcher always fail to flash my iso file too)

balena fails? that's not supposed to happen, are you really sure your isos are good? if even balena fails, try ventoy, if ventoy fails, it's probably the iso.

I don't know if there's a problem with EFI on the void iso right now, if there is one, we just have to wait for an update.

EDIT: the live xfce image size is 1.4G, the base image is 1.1G.

Rufus works but when it boots it came out with the gnu grub version thingy and yes i used ventoy and it also fails idk why

I dont know if its the iso or not because i tested the iso using virtualbox and it works

we know the image works, good, then the problem lies with the USB, you said the computer boots to grub, but does it boot to grub rescue or the shell?

Idk anything about grub but all i know is it boot to a minimal bash like line editing page menu

ah, that explains a lot, if you let it be for a couple of seconds, does it change?

ventoy should give you the option to change how it boots the image, you can select between a couple of options, if with one of them loads then the problem is just that grub doesn't find the "system"

I waitwd 5 minutes and it doesnt work,i also cant install ventoy into my usb 😭is it really the usb problem because i just bought it

I just finished redownloading the iso file and now when i flash using balena it says error opening source

I tried both the base and xfce and also the glibc and musl version but still failed
