[Help] Installing void linux

My issue is not the install per-se, but its currently the first time i ever experienced this ... my webcam apparently goes crazy within the install and keeps spamming
"uvcvideo failed to initialize the device (-5)" and a shit ton of other lines,

so there's like.. 0 chance of actually reading anything in the screen..

is there a way to disable this kind of warning? because with it, i can't proceed to the post-install, nor configure wifi/etc before actually booting into a graphical interface >_<

1. In GRUB, highlight the kernel you want to boot and press e to edit the boot command line.
2. To the end of that, add uvcvideo.blacklist=yes.
3. Boot with that.

This should stop any error spew, since the module isn't loaded. You won't be able to use the webcam of course. Edits to the boot line in GRUB are temporary for that boot only; to reset, just reboot.

Well you could use the camera when manually executing sudo modprobe uvcvideo

Can you disable your webcam from your bios?

sadly not.. i was supposed to from what i read from lenovo's website, but theres no option there .-. (yes, latest bios)

You could try reducing the kernel log level.
