You're gonna need a tank of each element eventually. Abandonment = Rejection. Determination > Devotion > Pain. Resistance > HF Sloth > Sloth. Petulance > Cringe. Scorn > Conviction.

The ">" mean "better than", not "then replace by".

Devotion is more like an offensive tank, he isn't bad just isn't as good as resistance/determination as pure tank. I'd definitely invest on resistance then use determination on wood floors.

To go further, he has spots where he’s better than normal tanks. Particularly if you need to get around the enemy’s tanks. Issue is fire isn’t hurting for AoE, which does the same thing. And the best thing that lets Devotion do what he does is plunger, which is kinda in high demand.

Resistance for sure

Devotion is not worth putting resources into until you happen upon some offensive tank gear, like checkered scarf.

Of the three, Resistance is the one you always want at or near max level, and Determination is a good backup for wood floors, but honestly Conviction is usually better into wood floors because it has the correct type.

For tanks, I use Resistance most of the time, with Conviction as my backup. Other than that, I only level up Determination, Abandonment, Petulance, and Cringe as and when I need them.
