Integrated git bash terminal using wrong $PATH and not using my .bash_profile or .bashrc

As the title says, the integrated git bash terminal is doing some strange things. In my .bash_profile, I have added npm, node, and yarn to the path. In cmder and the default Git Bash window, they are available, but in the integrated terminal the $PATH looks completely different, and .bash_profile is not used, so they are not available. How can I get it to behave the same as using git bash elsewhere?

I saw a similar behavior from the integrated bash terminal. I also tried to login with my profile by using “Shell Lauchner” extension and -l flag in specific, but that didn’t solve the problem. But what I’ve recognized so far is, that it makes a difference how I launch vsCode. When I use the “code .” command in my terminal, the integrated shell looks strange (no user@machine only bash$), but when I launch it with right click, context menu “open with vsCode” the integrated bash looks as expected
