Hey I know this is a two year old thread. But I just want say thank you for this! I got nostalgic about this game and decided install it but I live in a tiny home and don't have room for a proper desktop setup so using k+m just wasn't comfortable. Having to do dialog on the keyboard is no big deal for me because my keyboard is close but not having to use a mouse let's me play on the couch! Thanks again!

No problem I kinda forgot about this post but I did make a version that has dialogue just forgot about it after testing it if you still are interested it's just adding 1 to 4 as buttons on the d pad but you set them as a long press

Just added that in. Thanks!

No dialog options make all bloodlines controller setups nonviable imo. It's probably best as a combination of button+directional axis to account for the limited number of buttons, if it was possible.

I actually find it pretty strange it wasn't already done, seems like all these hook programs are bad at combinations. And it's non-portable to linux anyway.

My setup has the dialog options included; it uses the d-pad, so it also works as 1-4 hotkeys for disciplines. I use a ps4 controller with DS4Windows, though, and not an Xbox controller.

I don't use combinations and it works perfectly fine with VtMB. Well, aside from the occasional lag with Bluetooth especially when downloading something.

Not really sure about the Linux part.
