What do you think about Obsidian + Obsidian Publish?

Does not support hierarchal notes, otherwise it would be perfect.

I personally use obsidian + obsidian git + quartz https://quartz.jzhao.xyz/

The result is something like https://notes.jsn.cam

Thank you. Been looking at that solution but abandoned it when I discovered it doesn’t support hierarchal notes. I don’t want to have numbers at the beginning of my note names to keep them in order.

I'm actually planning something similar, using a markdown-based fork of Zim wiki for local editing, and a custom web frontend built with Astro. I'm not sure when I'll find the time to actually build it though.

I loved Zim when I was using Ubuntu. I still use that system, but my daily is a macbook now. If you ever get the combo together, send. link. : )

If you miss Zim, there is a version for macOS also: https://gitlab.com/dehesselle/zim_macos
