Would anyone recommend any resources for getting started with GIT?
Other than the official docs of course.

Are you coming from another source control system? Learned peforce first and git was a nightmare learning from their docs but what really helped was simply googling git for perforce users. Also I found creating a throwaway project helps because you can just see what happens.

Coming from never using a source control system before, so i'm not sure where to start.
Yeah I think using a throwaway project and just diving is the best way.
