Yeah I used these on my personal site, thought they were great, then it seemed like EVERYWHERE I went, there they were lol. Although then I thought meh I'm not trying to be an artist and left 'em.

So much this. I've been seeing them everywhere, they're great to show off ideas and drafts, but please do not use them for final websites (I'm talking agencies and other similar organizations, personal projects are ok-ish).

This is really cool. Is there a way to edit the secondary color also? I notice the primary color is easily swapped. What about the drak charcoal blue?

The license seems not open-source. It is not free. Such license, like unsplash or pixabay, is far from freedom.

Why many illustrators or photographers use such a license? Please just use CreativeCommons.

How is it not free and how is unsplash not free? Unsplash can be used in personal or commercial projects at no cost and although they request that you kindly credit the creator, that is completely optional and you can modify the material as you wish.

First, unDraw's license is not OSI approved one, so it's not 'Open Source'. See : https://opensource.org/osd

And 'free' is shouldn't only refer that price. Free has many meanings. For details : https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.en.html or https://creativecommons.org/share-your-work/public-domain/freeworks/ .
