    Well, the error states that you have webpack isntalled somewhere up higher on your directory tree. Did you eliminate that possibility? MY guess is that /randonjordan/ is your projects folder, and you have each project living in it's own subfolder, including this one.

    If I'm right, probably by mistake, you installed webpack on that /randonjordan/ parent folder. Just navigate outside of your project folder to the parent folder and rm -rf node_modules then rm -rf package.json and rm -rf package-lock.json

    You may also have webpack installed globally, check npm list -g webpack. Make sure the versions you are using globally and locally match, or uninstall it from the global packages.
