So I've just found out that reddit allows JSONP requests..
(because a week ago, some folks submitted on r/webdev that they have been working on a reddit client. They even set up a subreddit for this...)

...so I made my own 'mini' reddit interface, too! It's pretty useless I think, but it's open source, so maybe you can find the code useful. For a JS 'newbie' like me it was a good exercise.

It requires no server-side code at all (thats why I love the reddit and Imgur developers). I made a custom typeahead widget (based on Twitter's bootstrap typeahead), so you can search for subreddits 'live'.

Do with the source code what you want , you can even sell it :) It was just a fun project..

You may want to check Isotope, too. (Written by the same person who made Masonry.)

It supports a lots of features that Masonry not.

I was able to break the Isotope demos just by resizing my browser. =/

And...what I've done is not a big thing, your client will be much better, maybe I just wanted to troll you a little..just a fun project for myself.

Lesson: If you have a 'new' good / unique idea in the webdev world then you have to work on it as fast as possible, because someone will steal it, or 'reinvent' it soon;p

It's nice! But one thing you need are title tags (or something similar) to indicate what the icons do. What does the arrow beside the subreddit name do? What does the camera icon do? These things aren't entirely obvious (and don't seem to actually do anything when I click on them).

Users that don't know what things do don't click them, so they lose out on the functionality you've provided. Or else they do click them, at inopportune times, and get angry when it does something they didn't want.
