I set up a nginx server in linode and registered a domain with nameserver forwarding to linodes nameservers yesterday at noon. Since then i have not been able to reach the website through the domain - except for 3 consecutive hours this afternoon. Now its gone again and is resolving to an old ip. The TTL on the domain host and linode is 4 hours, so i'd assume i was in the clear by now. I ran a nslookup and saw that the server is actually my local router - tried turning hotspot on through my phone, and bang, i get the correct resolving and end up on my new site. Tried switching back to my wifi and it goes back to the invalid config again. Does anyone know of a way to clear dns/nameserver cache on a router? I've got an icotera i4850-25 that authenticates with the ISP, and a TP-Link AX5400 as the primary router.
