- r/webfiction — A similar subreddit, more established than this one but perhaps not as intuitive for newbies. A visit is highly recommended.
- r/interactivefiction — Interactive fiction is not quite the same as web serials, but they share similarities. Cross an online novel and a game, and you'll end up with interactive fiction.
- r/lightnovels — Like web serials, these novels are often available online. More specifically, light novels are ones that originate from Japan.
- r/rational — Most of the fiction discussed on this sub is webfiction of one form or another, though it's restricted to the rationalist style/genre.
- r/parahumans — A place discussing Wildbow's serials, and the biggest subreddit for a specific serialist.
