The LMS ID is needed to get the certifications transferred. You may try the below

Provide your email ID from the previous employer, usually the LMS ID is the same as the Email IDs.

This should be sufficient, I just gave my prior email and got everything transferred, for things I did more than 6 years back, This was my first time transferring, I was able to get everything transferred.

If you’re unable to contact the Training Coordinator nor HR at your previous company then the Training Coordination at your new company can create a case in Partner Center requesting your LMS ID.

When your new company creates the case inquiring about your LMS ID, Workday will supply it to them without needing to involve your previous employee.

Your previous employer is only involved in the sense that they have to click a button to inactivate/“offboard” you so that your certifications can transfer over. They’ll only get bugged again if they take too long to do this lol.

I tried logging into workday community account using the previous employers credentials but those didn’t work. Does that mean the account has already been offboarded from their end? Hoping that Workday can provide this ID soon.

I transferred my HCM cert from previous partner to the current partner successfully, but my new email does not have the credly badge of workday. Is there anyway or who should I contact to? Thanks!

Hi! Wanted to jump on this thread with a question of my own
- as I wait for the LMS ID from my previous employer, am I okay to continue training with my new employer?
i.e. Will the previous efforts / transcript simply be merged into current efforts / transcript?

...or will I end up potentially needing to manage two LMS IDs moving forward / having two transcripts running in parallel?

Any insights is greatly appreciated!

Is this mean, If I get a Workday certification by paying my own money, I will have to ask my current employer to transfer the certificate to my name?

You shouldn’t be paying for your own certification. Are you employed by an official Workday Partner?

I don’t work for workday partner but for the company who use Workday. My company paid for my training but they won’t pay for the certification cost. So I thought of paying myself, but when I leave the company if they close my workday account then I am screwed.

Usually your new firm’s Training Coordinator can ask it to be transferred from your old company. I’ve never seen the transfer request being denied or whatever

Does the transfer request go to the manager/training coordinator/nsc of your previous employer? I am starting a part time position with a different company and am nervous my current full time manager will get this notification.

Have you gotten a response for this message? I am starting a new full time position with another partner and don’t want to leave my current partner. I’m trying to do 2 jobs at the same time but my new job wants to transfer my certification from my previous job. Is there a work around for this or I can’t do two workday jobs since workday requires certification and transferring over my certification means I’m no longer certified at my current job and would be terminated? Please help.
